Hey hey hey!! It's a NEW CONTEST TIME!!!

That's right, I have a new contest beginning! I posted the lineart, so anyone who wishes to participate, please do! I hope people are actually interested...

"This time, they're going out for the afternoon on a tour of the city!!

The one in the foreground (with the ponytail) is Emma. She has blue eyes and strawberry blonde/chestnut colored hair. Her outfit can be any color and/or design, just have fun with it. She is lighter skinned.

The one in the background (with sunglasses) is Alex. She has black/dark dark blue hair and brown eyes. She's more "exotic" and has darker skin, either tanned or ethnic, however you want to portray it. Her clothes can also be any color and/or design.

They're in front of an apartment in the big city, so imagine brick or something. If you see something different, shoot for it, I may like it.

It's a sunny day and a generally happy mood. I like happy colors, but if you see a different color palette, go for it.

Basically, the only colors I really want you to stick to are the characters colors (hair/eyes/skin). Otherwise, keep mood and atmosphere in mind!!!"

The winner will get either a three month subscription or a drawing from me, which ever you choose! And the colored image will be posted on the actual site with lots of links back to the original...Lots of veiws, WOOT WOOT!

I wanted to replace my old journal about my birthday with something new, so I thought now would be a great time to send my thanks out to my donators!

Sadly, I have to remove my watchers from my journal, as dA doesn't allow up to a certain size in their journals. I've been trying to prolong it, but I can't put it off any longer. So, it is with a heavy heart that I remove these names. But but trust me, I keep track of every person.

So...After what felt like days...oh, okay, so it was technically days... but =aluminumcandy and I have finally come to a decision on the winner of this month's contest.

This was a VERY difficult contest to judge. Everyone who entered had AMAZING entries. Quite frankly, we were torn between a couple of people on who to chose. It came down to 1) time spent.. 2)quality.. 3) and overall effect achieved. And by time spent, I don't really mean just "OMGZ, I TOTALLY SPENT FOREVERZ ON THIS" but I mean, I could look at it and say "they really put forth some effort". Not to mention, I picked up on little things that my lineart sucked at and who was able to fix it, lol.

SO...the decision that alu-chan have come to is....*DRUM ROLLLS!*


"Mystican Destinies Colored" by ~kingv

Alu-chan and I decided that ~kingv really raised the bar on coloring skills. She made the image a picture and really created a beautiful mood. Now, alu-chan and I had some discrepencies because Alex's hair is blue in her image, but finally we came to the decision that it was just artist rendering, and because of her style, it is essentially black.

HOWEVER...like I said, this was a VERY difficult contest for us to decide.. *hence the amount of time it took to announce*..

So, for Chapter 2, I hope that people won't feel daunted by any previous entries. Some people have amazing styles, like the people in this contest, and you never know if I may like yours next!!

YAY! It's time again!

A neeeeeeew contest!

Okay, so when I started posting the comic, I got too excited and forgot to put a chapter page up. So I just decided that I'll start a contest for a couple of reasons. One; I haven't done a contest in a while, and Two; I suck at coloring! So here's yer sign.

I'm going to be a smidgen picky about this one, just cause I have this picture in mind. I triiiiied to color it myself, but I failed...HARD.



So:

I want an autumn scene...oranges, yellows...Trees in the background? It's also supposed to be a wood & iron bridge. And the girls? Well, Emma (foreground) is supposed to have strawberry blonde hair...that's red & blond-ish (with a hint of brown?) and Alex (background) has black hair. Simple enough? Emma has blue eyes...Alex has dark brown.

Their clothes can be any color, so long as it fits with the general idea.

I guess that's about it.

OH! Of course, there's PRIZES~!

The winner gets a three month subscription to dA! And a picture as thanks. I know it's not much, but it's all I can afford.

Of course, any style is cool. If you do traditional, feel free to print out and color. If you do digital, well you know what to do.

Please forgive the sloppiness of the line work, too. As I said, I intended to color this myself, but that obviously didn't get anywhere. If there's something weird, just erase it or whatnot.

If anyone can participate, it would be GREATLY appreciated!! I would absolutely LOVE it.
